Misty LeClercI am a North Carolina native, but I graduated from the College of Charleston with a BA in Political Science, and I have lived in Charleston area since 1998. My career started in 2002, and I am currently teaching Government at Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant. My first experience with We the People was from a summer institute in Virginia five years ago, and my students have been participating in the program since that one lucky summer. My students have enjoyed the program so much that we started a school wide competition for all of my students. Three of my classes have been fortunate enough to compete at the national competition in Washington, DC, and those students view the trip and competition as the highlight of their high school careers.
